My task is to: Alright, let's make this last step a bit harder and do two things. Make a copy of favorite_things and name it sorted_things. Then use .sort() to sort sorted_things.
It keeps saying task one is no longer passing

229,732 PointsA syntax error causes all tests to fail, including the re-test of task 1. The line "favorite_things[:] = cal" is causing that problem because it's trying to get something from "cal" which has not been created yet (you won't actually need it for this challenge anyway).
The challenge says "Make a copy of favorite_things and name it sorted_things. Then use .sort() to sort sorted_things."
It's important to do those things in the requested order because the "sort" function changes the list you apply it to. It also does not return anything, so you won't need an assignment when you use it.
