Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Creating the Screen Layout Setting Colors

I did not understand

please I want some help

activity_main.xml
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
  android:layout_width="match_parent"
  android:layout_height="match_parent"
  android:background="@android:color/white" >

  <TextView
    android:id="@+id/textView1"
    android:layout_width="wrap_content"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content"
    android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
    android:layout_centerVertical="true"
    android:text="Treehouse loves me!"
    android:textSize="72sp"
            android:textColor="black"
            android:background="white"/>

</RelativeLayout>

You should explain what is your question, but I believe it's the part about colors? if so set the color where you have black/white to this:

black = #000000 or #0000000 white = #FFFFFF or #FFFFFFFF

The values on the right hand side are hexadecimal notation they just simple mean black or white respectively

EDIT: or you can use @android:color/white and @android:color/black
