I do not understand the question

Can anyone help me with my code, It does not seem to work no matter how I try to try different code. Either that I am completely not understanding the question. Could someone give me the solution to this and tell me what I should be doing.

GoKart.java
class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String color;
  private int barCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    this.color = color;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return color;
  }

  public void charge() {
    barCount = MAX_BARS;
  }

public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    if (MAX_BARS == 0) {
      return true;
    }
      else {

        return false;
    }
}

You used the wrong variable. Change MAX_BARS to barCount:

public boolean isBatteryEmpty() { if (barCount == 0) { return true; } return false; }
