The boolean was supposed to end the challenge but instead gave me an error.

Courses Plus Student 10,715 PointsThe one and only problem of your code is "boolean" variable. It is reserved word in JS.

8,378 PointsIn javaScript Boolean is either true or false. Think of it as a switch. In the challenge, the question is asking to create a popup message that says "this is true". All you have to do inside the if statement is set the statement to true. What you have the is correct don't get me wrong but this is true house. In a browser, your code is fine. The solution to this is below. I am sorry if I couldn't make it clear for you, but your code is correct.
