JavaScript jQuery Basics (2014) Introduction to jQuery jQuery Documentation: What Does it Mean?

I don't quite understand Traversing.

Can someone further explain this idea with a couple points?

Thank you for your time in advance!

Its basically just being able to move through the DOM like the parent, the sibling, or the child of elements.

I didnt understand it at all at first either since it wasn't explained before but as I progressed with the JS track and google a bit of stuff; it became naturally easier so don't worry. I think its explained a bit later in the track.
