I don't understand why this is not working

I do not understand why this is not working?

favorite_things = ['raindrops on roses', 'whiskers on kittens', 'bright copper kettles',
                   'warm woolen mittens', 'bright paper packages tied up with string',
                   'cream colored ponies', 'crisp apple strudels']
#slice1= []
slicel = favorite_things[1:4]

When I copy and paste your answer in it becomes clear that your variable name is slicel with an "L" at the end not a "1". Change it to the number and you should be fine.
