iOS Swift Basics (retired) Variables and Constants Variables

I get error with this. var greeting greeting="Hello"

I dont know what happens because for me this is OK

string_assignment.swift
var greeting
greeting="Hello"

Hi Santiago!

You might want to create a variable named greeting and assign it a value of "Hello" like this:

var greeting = "Hello"

BTW theoretically you could separate this two steps like this but the Code Challenge wouldn't accept it:

var greeting: String
greeting = "Hello"

The thing is that the program was taking into account that I was not using spaces.
