I got stuck guys, where am i getting it wrong with my code

i am failing to create a function which allows me to use two arguments and return the larger. there should be a conditional statement to test the larger of the two

script.js 
function max(upper, lower) {
  var maxNUmber = Math.max(10, 20); 
  if (upper>lower) {
    return maxNumber;
  }
}

it worked without the conditional for me...

function max(num1, num2) { var maxNumber = Math.max(num1, num2); return maxNumber; }

You can use an if/else statement in your function.

function max(num1,num2){
  if(num1>num2){
    return num1; 
  }else{
    return num2; 
  }
}
