iOS Build a Weather App with Swift Simple Data Structures Loading Files From A Directory

I have checked this code in Xcode and it works. Why dose it not work with this objective?

let plistPath = NSBundle.mainBundle().pathForResource("CrazyInformation", ofType: "plist") let dictionary = NSDictionary(contentsOfFile: plistPath!)

plist.swift
import Foundation

// Add your code below

let plistPath = NSBundle.mainBundle().pathForResource("CrazyInformation", ofType: "plist")
let dictionary = NSDictionary(contentsOfFile: plistPath!)

The pathForResource method returns an optional and the challenge wants you to use optional binding syntax. Watch the video NSBundle and the File Directory at 02:25. You just need to use if let and place your instance of NSDictionary inside curly brackets {}. If the path exist then the instance will be executed and assigned to the constant dictionary. Also remove the bang ! from plistPath.

if let plistPath = NSBundle.mainBundle().pathForResource("CrazyInformation", ofType: "plist") {

  let dictionary = NSDictionary(contentsOfFile: plistPath)

  }

Hope this helps.
