I have done everything shown in the tutorial video but this step seems to keep me on the spot. How else can I solve this

The question is to add a String (mTitle) to the code and make it public

PictureBook.java 
public class PictureBook {

  public String mTitle()
  {
    String Title = "";
      return Title;
      }
 }

Hi Joyce! I feel like you've overthought this a bit. What you've actually declared here is a method named mTitle instead of a variable.

Here's an example of a public string variable declaration:

public String myString;
