I have finished the beginner swift course and need help deciding what to do next

I have just finished all the swift beginner courses and now have reached content that has not updated and is still in Swift 2. Would it be better to continue learning using Swift 2(where I have already encountered problems where the compiler doesn't match up) or should I go through the beginner Obj-C track? The only videos I have watched beyond the beginner Swift is the introduction to auto layout

You should move to swift 3; maybe skim through the beginner course of Swift 3 and move on to the intermediate course
