I have gotten this far and yet I still don't understand why it shows 1/2 steps complete or 1/3 steps complete. Explain?

I am sorry if this doesn't fit with the main theme of the topic at hand. I'd just like to know. Thank you.

I think you're talking about the little "incentive" widget you get when you're working on a track. It just shows how many of the "recommended" steps you've done that day. It has no other purpose and no impact on your learning.

If you do more than the minimum, it resets which can make things even more confusing.
