I have no idea how to use the array_sum function

$numbers = array(1,5,8);

array_sum($numbers) { echo $numbers; }

Hi Beezer,

The array_sum function returns the sum so you can do this:

<?php

$numbers = array(1,5,8);

echo array_sum($numbers) ;

?>

thanks for responding! i think my brain was done processing info for the day...pretty simple concept.

These answers are 100% clearer than its use in the video (general principles are explained but not the specific use of the function) Very frustrating.
