Hi all i'm stuck on the first step. I follow the directions exactly and I took a lot of great notes but apparently I am not selecting the right parts.

What worked for you guys?

Hi Kevin Shields,

You are close! In the challenge you're required to:

select all links in the nav element

So instead of:

let navigationLinks = document.getElementByTagName('nav');

Perhaps try something like:

let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('nav a'); // all links in nav element

Keep going and happy coding,
Dave :dizzy:
