I keep creating the new rule in css targeting the class title changing the font-size to 26px. It keeps saying I'm wrong!

The challenge asks to target the class "title" and set the font-size to 26px. I typed the following code:

. title { font-size: 26px; }

I looked on-line for other references and it says the code is correct. Is there a glitch in treehouse code? lol

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
. title {
  font-size: 26px;
}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lake Tahoe</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="page.css">

Try deleting the space between the period and "title" so it reads

.title{
   font-size: 26px;
}

That should work.

Hi Rhonda, Is there a space between . and title, in your css file?

The space between the period and the class will solve the problem.

.title {font-size: 26px};
