Python

I keep getting a SyntaxError: invalid syntax, when I put from characters import Thief

I can't import the class on the project.

Could you add your code and the exact error your seeing?

class Character:
    def __init__(self, name, **kwargs):
        self.name = name

        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

class.Thief(Character):
  sneaky = True

  def pickpocket(self):
      if self.sneaky:
      return self.sneaky and bool(random.randint(0, 1))

  def hide(self, light_level):
      return self.sneaky and light_level < 10

Hey clarence hollins, looks like a typo:

class.Thief should be class Thief

Notice how the ^ in the error message points to the errant dot?

Post back if you need more help. Good luck!!!
