HTML HTML Basics Getting Started with HTML Lists and Links Challenge

I keep getting an error message that says that I have to set the href of the second <a> element to pies.html

I keep getting an error message that says that I have to set the href of the second <a> element to pies.html but when I check it is correct with the quotation marks and the ending anchor tag. I don't understand why it still comes up as wrong.

Look to the order. The good way:

<ul>
  <li><a></a></li>
</ul>

Hope this help.

Thank you for your help. i understand now

The task is to make the text inside the list items a link. I believe the error is that you have made the list items themselves links. Try writing the list items like below:

<li><a href="pies.html">Pies</a></li>

oh now i understand. Thank you
