I keep getting the broken img icon. Is my code wrong?

<section> <ul> <li> <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""> </li> </ul> </section>

I am not sure if its my code or if something is up with my browser but I can not get the image to display.

I put the / in front of img and made sure the image was in the img folder but it still isn't coming up in the preview.
