iOS Swift Basics (retired) Collections What is a Dictionary?

I may be misunderstanding this question but I am trying to define contstant ukCurrency

Could someone help me understand this question?

dictionaries.swift
let currencies = ["US" : "Dollar", "UK" : "Pound", "JP" : "Yen"]

let ukCurrency ["UK"] = "Pound"

1 Answer

All the task is asking you to do is assign the string "Pound" to a new constant named 'ukCurrency'.

let ukCurrency = currencies["UK"]

This is the same as writing:

let ukCurrency = "Pound"

Either will work to pass the challenge.

Thanks Kyle!
