5,636 PointsI need help installing Cmder for RoR when working on the development environment.
I'm trying to install the development environment for RoR and get an error.
"The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
I've looked for this file and cannot find it. I also looked on the Internet and no luck.
Any help resolving this error message would be greatly appreciated.

1,626 PointsGo to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=46881 and download. If you are on a x64 machine then download and install the x64 and then the x86, after you've done this then try and open cmder again

Courses Plus Student 6,389 PointsI have downloaded both 86 and 64 and still get the same issue. I do have visual studio 2008 not sure if that matters.. however I installed the 2008 x64 version and still got the same error so I installed the x86 and x64 version of the 2013 package.. and still get the missing dll error.
