Select the second SPAN element on the page

Your getElementsByTagName should target the span element on the page; the 2nd span tag

yeah, document.getElementsByTagName("span") will get you an Array of all the span elements on the page, and since you need the 2nd span element, you should select the item at 2nd index position of the Array, and assign it to the variable lastName.

Thanks
