I need help understanding constraints

Im working on the sign up and log in views in xcode 6.3.1 and I am having a hard time getting everything to display properly on the different screen sizes.

Has anyone been able to figure out good constraints for these views? Is there a trick to auto-layout that I am possibly missing?
