I need you to add a new variable named total, as assigning the sum of current_count and upcoming_releases

how do i create the new variable

delete.py
current_count = 14
planned = 5
upcoming_releases = 2
del planned
total = 'current_count' + 'upcoming_releases'

1 Answer

It looks like you're calling current_count and upcoming_releases inside quotation marks, which turns them into a string of text, rather than referencing the variable. Remove the quotations and you should be set.
