Python Python Basics (2015) Logic in Python Membership

I receive an error, but I cannot realize why: if time in store_hours: store_open = True else: store_open = False

if time in store_hours: store_open = True else: store_open = False

store_open = None
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]
if time in store_hours:
    store_open = True
    else:
        store_open = False

Hi Dimitrios,

your code is fine, but it's the spacing that isn't correct. Your else block should have the same indentation as the if block, so it should not be inside the if block, but outside

if time in store_hours:
    store_open = True
else:
    store_open = False
