I set up a wordpress site, but now I cannot log in to it via the admin portal. It is not taking my password and username

I did the softaculous step, but I hit a road block once the word press page was set up. I cannot log-in to my admin account, and I can't find the correct e-mail and password. Please help!

Wordpress offers a small link offering to recover your password, just click on it
