I think I know the issue you're experiencing. It's a recurrent problem for me, but easily solved. Often, when I'm doing a code challenge, typically when I've already submitted once but made an error, clicking in the box where I want to edit doesn't put the cursor where I need it (in the text field). I'm still controlling things outside of the panel where I need to be.

Here's what I've found usually works for me: Scroll up to the top, and click on the header tab just above the text field where you edit. (In your case, it says 'index.html' and has a little paper icon.) Then, click again somewhere in the editing space. Your cursor should show up where you clicked, and you can use the arrow keys to go back to wherever you need to be.

Hope this helps!

I had a similar problem when I was trying to edit code on my i-pad. I installed an update to my treehouse i-pad application earlier today and am hoping that helps. I have better luck when I use my computer to do the code challenges. I am not sure whet system you are using but hope this information helps.
