Hi MUZ140563 Brighton Madire,

As Amit explains early in the video we can use Swifts Dictionary subscripting aka the square brackets to get the value for the key UK which we pass as a string within the square brackets.

let ukCurrency = currencies["UK"]

Happy coding!

let ukCurrency = "Pound"
