I want to build an admin page for a photography site for a family member so they can make changes and upload photos

Please keep in mind, still new to the backend programming, just don't know where to start. I don't know if this will make sense? What is required to make an admin page where only the owner has access and can make changes to any page and upload their photos so they dynamically upload to a pre built wireframe on the site to display, without having to use any code, just drag and drop photos and change text, in a more non-programmer environment Kind of way like Wordpress but without using their services?

Anything helps as to where to begin, or which courses I should be taking here to learn what is required.

Hi Andrew,

What you need is a CMS (Content Management System). You probably already know that by now.

There are some big, powerful CMS's like Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla etc, but these are probably too big and overly complicated for what you need it for.

I recommend searching for something like 'Free Easy CMS'. There are loads of small CMS's that you can quickly install into your existing code. I recommend something like Couch CMS - a really small but simple CMS that you can just tag items that you want to be editable (such as an image) and then your family member can log in and change that image etc.
