I was able to open the resume.html and css page just fine I stopped using my laptop and i cant open it anymore

I changed the h1 to the color blue just like in the video then i stopped using my laptop i came back and it was never the same. Everytime i hit preview it opens the index.html page not the resume one. I dont understand i tried logging in and out, adding a new line of code and nothing seems to work

Hi there Haki Asllani,

The preview button launches index.html, which is usually the default page of any website. In the first video of the final stage ("Set up an HTML Document"), the instructor demonstrates changing the URL to /resume.html to view the "resume" page at the 3:40 mark. If your updates are still not showing, feel free to link to a Workspace snapshot and I'll have a look at it.

You can do that by clicking the "Snapshot Workspace" camera icon in the top-right corner of your Workspace, then "Take Snapshot".

Hope this helps. :)

This fixed it thank you so much for the help! :)

I am having the same issue. Do I have to keep re-setting up the resume.html page every time I leave my computer?

Hi there Haki,

Is this something you’re still struggling with?

Are you able to confirm you’re previewing saved versions of the files. You know a file has been saved when the orange dot disappears from the file name tab.

You can also link to the resume page in your code, so every time Workspaces goes into preview mode you can go back to it.

When i hit preview it opens the wrong page. But before i stopped using my laptop it was working fine, i come back and the wrong page opens. How does it make sense? I wasn't using my laptop i didn't touch any code. So I added a new p tag or li tag i cant remember exactly i hit save the orange dot disappeared and the wrong page still opens

I believe what you're describing is the normal behaviour of WorkSpaces. That is to say, no matter what page you click preview on it will open the home page (index.html).

That’s not true in the video i was watching the instructor wanted a different page to be opened resume.html, Which it did. If she knew only index.html opened then why would she tell us to hit preview to make sure resume.html opens and make sure our changes were made which they were and then i come back after not using my laptop and then only index.html opens.

That's weird. Only the index page opened on the workspaces i was using. I'm sorry, I have nothing else to suggest. Regardless of what is open in preview mode the changes should be saved in Workspaces so long as the file is saved.

Yes it is very weird, If there’s not anything you can suggest or do is there anyone else because there’s no reason i pay 25 a month and this cant be resolved and im supposed to be stuck like this
