The challenge asks you to create a method to return the private static field _videoGames, and in your method you didn't set any return type, plus the method should not be static nor private :)

        public VideoGame[] GetVideoGames()
        {
            return _videoGames;
        }

notice how I constructed it, it's public because other classes should be able to access the method, then I set the return type which should be the same type of whatever it is you'll be returning, in this case a VideoGame array.

thank you Henrique. this explanation made a lot of sense
