I would love to get more knowledge on how to make AUTH calls with Wordpress Rest API.

As the topic says, I want to learn more on hat topis. WIth PHP as language. I can't find any good tutorials on this topic anywhere, many this is even the wrong way of ding it. I have a task that says that I need to make an Custom EndPoint with PHP and Wordpress. Where I should AUTH the user and POST a new entry to Wordpress. And I am stuck, badly.
