ie 8 is still 5% globally. would be handy to know the browser fix for this one.

The only way to get rounded corners in IE8 to my knowledge is by using a background image. There might also be a JS polyfill somewhere.

I would recommend framing such things as progressive enhancement. Browsers that support rounded corners will get them and those that don't won't.

It's important to remember, a site doesn't not have to look the same in every browser.
