If you are using windows can you download Darwin or Linux operating system.

And what are the limitations . And can you form Linux console

By using the right tool for your operating system, you should be able to download anything, regardless of what it contains. In most cases, a browser is a good tool for downloading.

Now installing a replacement or additional operating system will involve special instructions, they should be available from the same source as the download.

Alternatively, you can install the Linux Subsystem for windows. I use this, works a treat :)
