Illegal use of statement

I was struggling to understand the Do While process but I don't see what went wrong here. I keep getting the error Illegal use of statement on the closing of the do while block for the loop. Please help!

Example.java 
// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response;
do {
String response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?     ");
  if (response.equalsIgnoreCase("No"))
      } while(response.equalsIgnoreCase("No"));

Hi there! you can get rid of the "If" statement you included, the portion after the "while" will do that for you, as in "While response is equal to no, keep looping"
