I'm a little confused on list, string literals and objects

I'm trying to better understand string literals, string list and objects. Please correct me if I am wrong.

When we create a string like

"Hello, World"

That is known as a string literal? Which is also an object?

or how about when we create a list like...

fruit = ["apples", "oranges", "watermelon", "grapes"]

Is a list literal and object? if so, are we storing objects( String Literals ) inside an object( list literal ). To clarify, are we storing objects within an object?

Sorry for any confusing.
