WordPress How to Make a Website with WordPress Installing WordPress The Famous 5-Minute WordPress Install

I'm Confused

I'm using Go Daddy as my Hosting. after installing wordpress for my site,

when I check primary web root folder in my comp files, i can't find it. I am not sure if every hosting company has this.

Now I can't understand everything in this lecture. I am lost.

Did you use the installer or install it yourself through FTP?

If there isn’t any public html or equal folder it’s pretty reasonable that the uppermost folder ist the root, so if you plan to install wordpress on your main domain and not a subfolder (e.g. www.domain.com and not www.domain.com/subfolder) you should put your wordpress files there (root -> /..), my webspace handles it in the same way, let me know if that helps. cheers!
