I'm feeling like I'm in way over my head. Is there a beginner track I should be taking before this?

I feel like we went from zero to sixty. I took some of the "Learn Wordpress" track (but some of the courses are the same on this track) and I looked at Wordpress for businesses (which doesn't go over the skills I feel I need more explanation on), and I also took the "Getting Started with Wordpress" and "How to Build a Blog without Coding" courses. I don't feel like these have prepared me for child themes and where we are currently in this track. Are we moving really fast here? Have I just missed something? Should I be taking a different WordPress course before doing this track?

There is a newer course called "PHP for Wordpress" that might be a helpful boost for you, here's the link: http://teamtreehouse.com/library/php-for-wordpress

Hello Micole,

Have you tried the Wordpress Development track? I noticed you mentioned that you have taken some of the Learn Wordpress track and since the tracks are made up of individual courses on Treehouse you will experience some overlap, but the courses that you have already completed should be marked as completed with a check mark so you can skip those if you like.

If you look at the Treehouse library section you will see a list of all the courses available and you can sort them by topics such as Wordpress.

Please let myself and other users know if this solution helped by clicking on the number roll-out alongside this post.

Good Luck,

Franciscus
