I'm getting an error, unsupported type "string" when I have copy and pasted this code in my strings.xml file. I have also getting the error cannot resolve symbol R, and unresolved class Storyactivity and mainactivity please help because I have been following this course I googled this problem, they said me to rebuild the project but that didnt worked for me

Can you paste your code from your strings.xml? I suspect that's where the problem lies.

is String capitalized in your classes? Unlike int or boolean String gets capitalized.
