I'm looking for help ```javascript var fullName = document.getElementById("full_name"); var lastName = ```

when i type in the second bit of code my first test fails i can't understand why?

var lastName = doucement.getElementByTagName("span")[1];

I figured it out i was missing the "s" in document.getElement(((s))ByTagName

  1. "doucement" is misspelled .
  2. span is not the 2nd span it's the first one, so it should be ("span") [0] with no space. If that works click best answer.

I could have made it more clear in my question but i was attempting to access last_name which is the 2nd instance of "span" so

var lastName = document.getElementsByTagName("span")[1];

is correct.
