i'm not entirely sure on how to specify the paragraph to change it to black.

i need help solving this.

Hi Kaleb,

A paragraph tag is referenced using p.

Black as a hexadecimal colour would be #000000 or shorthand #000.

To put this together would be:

p {color: #000;}
