I'm stuck

Please show me how to fix this

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu="Our available flavors are: {}."
display_menu = menu.format(", ".join(sundaes))

The last line of your code is irrelevant. In your code, the .format() method should be called on the same line.

menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(", ".join(sundaes))

When I was doing the basics course, I was getting stuck all the time, don't let that make you quit. Every learning programmer will hit a brick wall.

Hello!

Try this:

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(display_menu)
