You're off to a decent start, but you need a way to access the key and value in the dictionary. Currently your for in loop and switch statement are setup incorrect. You will iterate over every key value pair in the world dictionary. Your switch statement will look at every key and append that value, when it matches, to the corresponding capitals array.

var europeanCapitals: [String] = []
var asianCapitals: [String] = []
var otherCapitals: [String] = []

let world = [
  "BEL": "Brussels",
  "LIE": "Vaduz",
  "BGR": "Sofia",
  "USA": "Washington D.C.",
  "MEX": "Mexico City",
  "BRA": "Brasilia",
  "IND": "New Delhi",
  "VNM": "Hanoi"]

for (key, value) in world {
    switch key {
    case "BEL","LIE","BGR": europeanCapitals.append(value)
    case "IND","VNM": asianCapitals.append(value)
    default:otherCapitals.append(value)
    }
}
