Development Tools Console Foundations Users and Permissions Creating Users

Im trying to create a user in the Mac Terminal, but i get this error message: sudo: adduser: command not found

I type: sudo adduser, then I type my user password and then i get the error message.

What am I doing wrong?

Unfortunately, the adduser command seems to be unique to some Linux distros (such as Ubuntu, which is used in the Treehouse Web Console). The process on OS X is a little more complicated, but Mac|Life did a pretty good tutorial on it
