iOS Swift Basics (retired) Collections What is a Dictionary?

I'm using let ukCurrency = currencies.removeValueForKey["UK"]. I've tried parentheses too. Xcode accepts it.

let currencies = ["US" : "Dollar", "UK" : "Pound", "JP" : "Yen"]

let ukCurrency = currencies["UK"]

ukCurrency

^ Xcode, perfectly fine.

This part:

let currencies = ["US" : "Dollar", "UK" : "Pound", "JP" : "Yen"]
let ukCurrency = currencies["UK"]

is fine. Try to delete last line - that works for me
