CSS CSS Basics (2014) Basic Layout Backgrounds: Size and Position

the mountain image is a pretty big size image. would this work with a smaller image like 400px x 400px? would it stretch or still fill the entire container?

You can control image display with CSS. An image can be shown in normal size, or you can choose from several ways to make it expand to fill the container.
