In order to go thru the Wordpress track, do I have to buy a domain? Or can i still practice without doing so?

If I have to have a domain, I have previously bought one thru google. How do i go about that?

Nope, you can just install wordpress locally on your computer and follow along with the videos no problem. You'll only have to buy or set up a domain once you want other people to be able to use your website.

There are videos in the wordpress library that show how to set up wordpress locally.
