In python, my task one, sundaes = available.split(", ") does not pass anymore for some reason what is the problem?

My task is to:

Alright, let's finish making our menu. Combine the sundaes list into a new variable named display_menu, where each item in the list is rejoined together by a comma and a space (", "). Then reassign the menu variable to use the existing variable and .format() to replace the placeholder with the new string in display_menu. If you're really brave, you can even accomplish this all on the same line where menu is currently being set.

banana.py 
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"

sundaes = available.split(", ")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(", ".join(display_menu))
display_menu = sundaes.join(", ")

You get that message whenever you have a syntax error. In this case, it's because you reference "display_menu" before it is created, and on the last line you have applied "join" to a list and given it a string argument. But "join" is a string method that takes a list argument.

You don't actually need that last line at all, since you do everything on the line before it. But you will need to put your "split" argument back the way it was when you passed task 1, and join using "sundaes" instead of "display_menu".
