in the android monitor the emulator isn't working

every time i run the app their isn't anything in the videos of professor "Ben Deitch " it works fine in my " logcat" it's empty so i can't run any programs and know if it works plz anyone knows what to do ?

Are you talking about the actual Emulator or the Preview while designing? If its the preview just click the "clear cache" option that appears when it crashes. It'll be in the paragraph that pops up over the picture.
