HTML Introduction to HTML and CSS (2016) Make It Beautiful With CSS Test: Styling by Element and Class

In the CSS file, create a rule for the .main-pg class. You don't need to write any style instructions yet.

NO CLUE what to do here....

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>
  <body>

<p class=.main-pg {}> My amazing website</p>

  </body>
</html>
styles.css

1 Answer

You wrote css code in the HTML: class=.main-pg {}

You should assign the class in the HTML:

<p class="main-pg"> My amazing website</p>

And then add the rule for that class as a new line in the styles.css file:

.main-pg {

};

Thank you so much, Andrew!
