I can get the quote and the source on the page but the span elements I am unable to display. I somehow cant target the span elements as it is nested within the p elements.

231,271 PointsBy "target", do you mean with a CSS selector?
If so, the easiest way might be to give the spans a class and then target the class in your CSS.
Also, you should be aware that only techdegree students can use your link. Ordinary students like myself cannot view it.
